Haranistas de Manila
Live Philippine Rondalla and Indigenous Percussion

Haranistas de Manila presents live Philippine Folk/Ethnic Music and Classic Vocal selections through the use of rondalla and other indigenous instruments. Founded in 1987 by Celestino “Bayani” Tan and Melissa Aranda-Tan, its objective is to preserve and promote Philippine Culture through various forms of music. Under the musical direction of Bayani Tan, the ensemble performs a unique blend of folk, traditional, and contemporary musical arrangements. The group is comprised of seasoned professional musicians with over 40 years of experience, learning and developing their craft from childhood and mastering it through years of local and international performances. Bayani, Melissa (Rondalla Maestro and Vocal Soloist/Music Researcher, respectively) and Ador were former members of the internationally acclaimed Bayanihan Philippine Dance Company.
